Our Free to Be Me level 1 camps are a great introduction to aerial yoga for kids who havent tried it yet, or for kids who want to continue to improve their skills. Yogis ages 6-10 will learn basic foundational poses and work on creating a sequence throughout the week to show parents on the last day of camp! Crafts, mindful lessons, meditation walks and games will all be weaved in to the camp curriculum.
Creative Yogis camps are for the more experienced aerial yogi who has completed a full semester of level 1 or has been approved by one of our instructors to join a level 2 camp. In this camp, yogis will learn more advanced poses that build off of the foundational poses they learned in level 1 as well as time to use explore and create their own poses in the hammocks. Each day they will learn new poses to put together a sequence to show parents on the last day of camp. Crafts, mindful lessons, meditation walks and games will be weaved in to each day of camp!
This is a mixed level camp for our tweens & teens looking to learn tools to help build confidence, strength, a mindfulness & meditation practice and positive social skills. We will spend ample time learning and creating poses in the hammocks as well as creating a peaceful dialog to discuss kindness, respect and equality in our communities through yoga and mindfulness.
You may receive a refund for camps cancelled within two weeks prior to the start date with a $50 cancellation fee. You may also transfer to another camp date with two weeks prior notice (no fee for a transfer). For those with emergencies or extenuating circumstances, please contact us immediately so we can work with you on your options.
We do not tolerate violent behavior. If your child physically harms another child, an incident report will be written for our files, the child's parents will be notified and you may be called to come pick up your child. We teach kindness, compassion and peace at our camps and expect our campers to be respectful to other campers, teachers and our studio. We reserve the right to ask a child to be picked up from camp for the day or for the remainder of the week if they are unable to meet these expectations.
Please leave all jewelry, watches, pants or shirts with zippers or anything that can snag our hammocks at home. Please make sure to send your child with pants that cover their knees. Failure to follow these requirements may result in your child not being able to participate in the aerial class.
